Shipping policy

Rivers + Roads offers free local pickup at our store in Hernando, MS; if you select local pickup, we will reach out to you when your order is ready for pick up - usually by next business day.

We maintain all inventory on hand (with the exception of clearly labeled pre-order items) at and ship from our store in Hernando, MS; we do not dropship.

All orders placed by 5pm central time will usually ship no later than the next business day, but we do not usually ship on postal holidays. 

Most customers receive their orders in an average of just 3 days from the time they place their order.

For orders with a subtotal of $95 or more, shipping is free, and, for orders with a subtotal less than $95, shipping is only $8.99; we also offer a jewelry-only option that is $4.99 (for any total orders weighing -.0001lb - 0.1lbs).

We may ship with USPS Ground Advantage, USPS Priority, UPS Ground or Ground Saver, FedEx Ground or Ground Economy, or an alternative carrier depending on price and/or delivery time; unfortunately, we cannot guarantee delivery by any date because, once we ship, it is in the hands of the carrier.

All orders are shipped FOB Shipping Point/ Origin, meaning customers bear the risk of loss once the carrier has physical possession of your packaged order has been transferred; however, if the order is shipped via an insured method and if the package becomes lost in transit or prior to delivery, we may issue a refund but only after allowing us enough time to work with the carrier to complete a thorough search, which can take seven (7) business days or more, and only at our sole discretion.

If your order is marked as delivered and you do not receive it, please reach out to us immediately, so that we can work with the carrier to investigate further. Sometimes carrier personnel mark orders as delivered too soon, and it may show up within a day or two. Or sometimes it was mis-delivered to a neighbor. We encourage you to check with your neighbors and other household member to expedite the investigation.

If your order is confirmed to have been delivered by the carrier to the shipping address  provided by the customer and if you remain unable to find it, that is likely the result of theft and we encourage you to file a police report. rivers + roads is not responsible for any theft or damage that occurs after the carrier receives your order, including after your order has been delivered.
